Dr. Pooja Sapra
Coordinator Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE)
Dr. Pooja Sapra is working as a Professor and Coordinator Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at WCTM.
With the thought that education is not only about gathering the information and apply, it also deals with the essence of what it means to be human. She started her academic career 15 Years back (2002) and completed a journey of 7 years in research (2017). She has more than 25 quality research papers to her credit. Her research area is securing the databases by keeping the performance parameters intact. She is the member of the editorial board of a Canadian journal ‘Engineering Management Research’, organizing committee member of ‘Institute for Engineering Research and Publication (IFERP)’, Editorial board member of, ‘International Journal of Engineering Research in Computer Science and Engineering(IJERCSE)’, Impact Factor: 4.890 and the chief editor of ‘International Journal of Interdisciplinary Engineering and Sciences’.
She is awarded as the best teacher in 2005. She has guided many U.G and P.G. projects and currently guiding PhD scholars.
She has been associated with ‘Manav Rachna International University’, ‘Apeejay Satya University’, ‘GD Goenka University’ and BM Institute of Engineering and Technology, during her 15 Years of Academic Experience.
She believes in ‘oneness of self and environment’. According to her, to make a change in the environment, it has to start with ‘I’. She follows Buddhist philosophy to cultivate seeds of hope in her own life and others. She is fond of listening to music that is full of determination, writing poetry and reading literature from the collection of Dr. Daisaku Ikeda (Buddhist Philosopher, Peace Builder and Educator).

Dr. Nancy Arya is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at WCTM.
She believes that education’s purpose is to replace an empty mind with an open one. An investment in knowledge always pays the best interest. She started her academic career in 2010. She has 8 years of teaching experience and 1-year experience of the industry. Her research areas are Mobile Cloud Computing, Cloud Computing, Distributed Systems and Networking. She has more than 15 quality research papers to her credit. She is the member and reviewer of London Journals Press.
She is IBM Certified DB2 Associate and secured 98.94%, highest score record till April 2009 in India. She is also IBM Certified Deployment Professional Tivoli Directory Server V6.1 and secured 98.90%. She was awarded by silver medal for academic excellence in her M.tech. program.
She has attended the UGC sponsored orientation program, more than 15 national and international conferences, and various faculty development programs, seminars and workshops.
She has been associated with the University of Rajasthan, ICG-The IIS University during her academic experience. She has guided many U.G and P.G projects.

Ms. Sonia Batra is MCA from TIMT, Yamuna Nagar affiliated to Kurukshetra University, BSc (Computer Applications) from MLN College, Yamuna Nagar. She has 6.5 years of teaching experience. She has worked as a Lecturer in MCA department in TIMT, Yamuna Nagar for 2.6 years, Assistant Professor with IITM, New Delhi for 4 years. She has also served as a mentor and shared her experiences with them for their overall grooming in today’s competitive scenario. She has also been a part of Newsletter, Cultural, Magazine Committees. He has taught postgraduates & undergraduates classes in various universities. Before joining World College of Technology and Management (WCTM) Gurgaon, He was associated with Jaipur National University Jaipur Rajasthan (NAAC Accreditation University), Dr.K.NModi University Newai Rajasthan. In Capacity of administration, admission counseling at different places, project guide, Coordinator of M.Tech program (CSE & IT), project guide, Chief Superintendent of examination (University Exam – theory and practical) and worked for NBA, NAAC & Deemed University Inspection. Ms. Shweta Mallick

Shweta Mallick is working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, at WCTM.
She firmly believes that “Teaching” is a process of attending to student’s needs, experiences and intervening so that students learn specific things, and go beyond the given. She has dedicated 8 years in Academic and 2 years in Industry. She worked as an Assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science and IT in the United College of Engineering and Research Allahabad. She also has experience of working as a visiting faculty in the Department of Master of Computer Application (MCA) in Bhartiya Vidyapeeth, Paschim Vihar, New Delhi, as an Assistant Professor in Delhi College of Advanced Studies, Vikaspuri, New Delhi and also as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Bachelor of Computer application in Institute of Information Technology and Management, Janakpur, NewDelhi. Apart from Academic experience she also has an experience of working in the IT industry as a Software test analyst in the application testing team in V- Serv Business Solution.
Currently, she is pursuing a PhD in Computer Application from Sam Higginbottom Agriculture University of Technology and Science, Allahabad. Her research interests include Data Mining and Artificial Intelligence. She has published 3 research papers in National Journals and also presented a paper in National Conference, attended numerous FDP’s and workshops. She has also been a part of Cultural and Technical Fest, Social Networking sites of college apart from this she has been instrumental in providing mentorship to students with exploring careers, setting goals, developing contacts and identifying resources.

Research summary
Currently working in the field of lung cancer detection using Image Processing and Neural Networks. Cancer detection is generally carried out manually by trained professionals and these techniques are majorly helpful in the advanced stage detection, also it involves a very tedious procedure and highly dependent on the given individual. This introduces the high possibility of human error in the detection process which necessitate an automated process.

Ms. Prerna Thakran is M.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) from The NorthCap University, Gurgaon and B.Tech (Computer Science and Engineering) from Manav Rachna International University, Faridabad. She is associated with World College of Technology And Management (WCTM) as an assistant professor in the Computer Science Department.
She is teaching graduate & post-graduate level subjects of Computer Science and Engineering of various semesters like computer security, Distributed Operating System, ADBMS, cybersecurity, web designing, computer programming and fundamentals etc.

Dr. Prakash Kumar Pathak

Dr. Prakash Kumar Pathak is a dedicated, hard-working and erudite academician with a total 17 Years of experience in providing visionary leadership to students and imparting quality education to a wide range of aspiring professionals. Dr.Pathak is Doctorate in (Computer Science) and MBA (HRM) professional with a proven track record as an academician, researcher, consultant, trainer and administrator, who can channelize the potential of people to achieve organizational objective.
Dr. Pathak has been teaching Computer Science and Engineering to graduate and post-graduate level students. Before joining World College of Technology and Management (WCTM) Gurgaon, He had worked as assistant Professor at Kumaun University (Nainital). He has published 11 International Journals. Attended 12 National / International Conference and 7 workshops.
His area of specialization is Integrated Intrusion Detection and Diagnosis for Cloud Computing. Other areas of interest are Big Data, .NET Technology, Software Engineering, and Software Project Management.

Deepak Kumar is an assistant professor in the Computer Science and Engineering Department. He has got 9 years of experience in the academic system. Presently he is pursuing a PhD in computer science & engineering from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. Prior to joining World College of Technology & Management Gurgaon in 2008, he has completed Master in Technology from YMCA Institute of Engineering (Presently known as YMCA University of Science & Technology) Faridabad and Bachelor in Technology from Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, in Computer Science & Engineering.
His primary research interests are in the areas of Big Data, Machine learning and data mining. He has published 6 research papers in International Journals and 2 in International Conferences. He has guided more than 15 M. Tech. students in their dissertation work. He has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by University Grants Commission in Computer Science & Application. He has also cleared the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2006, 2012 & 2017.

Science is preoccupied with understanding and explaining, while engineering is concerned with doing, realizing and implementing. Thus, the aim of future engineering education should be the integration of knowledge, skills, understanding and experience.
Her integration journey started with her Diploma in Computer Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic for Women, Sirsa where she understood the symbiosis between science and technology. After the initiation, she did her graduation in Computer Engineering from VCE, Rohtak and Masters in Technology in Computer Sciences from AFSE Faridabad, Haryana. Her integration process got accelerated after she was enrolled for PhD in Computer Sciences from SGVU Jaipur, Rajasthan in 2011 under the kind guidance of Dr. Ripu Ranjan Sinha Dean (Research) SGVU Jaipur and Dr. Mukesh Yadav HOD CSE GITM, Gurgaon, Haryana. She has completed her research on “Fault Tolerance in Grid Computing” which is being eyed by several researchers in different ways as it is one of the most valuable aspects in Grid computing. Her aim to research is user-friendly Fault Tolerance Grid system in the simplest form possible. Her induction with knowledge, skills and experience initiated with her teaching career which started with BMCE Sonipat, Haryana where she learnt and imparted the aspects of knowledge required to continuing education as a lecturer in CSE Deptt.
