A Computer Technology graduate is concerned with designing and constructing computer on one hand and development of computer programs i.e. Software and computer based information and control system. This is an emerging and expanding area of technology.
The department owns air-conditioned computer labs connected with servers, UPS and printers. The department has a network state of art computer systems configured with Intel Pentium IV processors with Windows-XP and Linux operating system. Apart from the different language processors , Multimedia packages MSDN packages, graphic packages. visual tools and DTP packages are available . The internet facility has 100 Mbps leased line connectivity and all nodes are deployed for students to browse the internet. The lab facility is also provided for 12 Hours a day beside the Wi-Fi campus, which enables one to go global and seek the latest information with in seconds over the desktop.
