Sharing some glimpses of National Mathematics Day on the anniversary of the great Mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan. The vision behind celebrating this day is to make students aware of the importance of mathematics in life. On this occasion, a quiz competition was oragnised and students participation was highly appreciated.

Training and Placement Department organised a Webinar on ‘Artificial Intelligence & its impacts on jobs’ by Ms. Sheema Krishnappa (Director, Software Engineering at Honeywell).

WCTM visit to GOONJ NGO for students, our first SAMRITAN Club activity done right . We flagged off WCTM clubs & societies initiative with a courteous and gentle deed. The visit reinforced the importance of supporting such organizations that play a crucial role in shaping the future of underprivileged. Few pictures and videos to show the enthusiasm and involvement of all stakeholders are as follows.

WCTM organised orientation session in association with Vodafone Idea Foundation for B.Tech 1st year students. They were also taught about React JS. students were given instant certificates on successful completion of React JS Foundation.

WCTM conducted the workshop on International Dining Etiquette by Ms. Shubha Joshi, the Director and chief image consultant of The Image Launchpad. She is the only AICI Certified Image Consultant in India. The students were taught about the basic table etiquettes including how to use cutlery for different food items, how to take a break from meal, how to portray that you have done with your food and other basics about using cutlery. It was a wonderful session and students enjoyed practising practically at the same time.

On December 14, 2023, students of Samaritan Club at WCTM Gurgaon shall be visiting Goonj, a renowned NGO. Engaged in a noble cause, students will contribute by donating essential items such as woolen clothes and shoes to support those in need. Join us in this noble cause in making a positive impact on the community.

Dr. Himani Avasthi & Ms. Madhavi Batra along with students attended India Economic Summit organised by Republic TV on 5.12.2023. It was a valuable opportunity for networking, gaining insights into current economic trends, and fostering collaborations with industry leaders. Sharing a few insights of the talks and addresses of the summit . It was a great opportunity indeed.

WCTM, in association with Toffee and Vodafone Idea Foundation, conducted an informative seminar focused on women's safety. The event introduced 'My Ambar,' a free safety and well-being solution tailored to assist women in times of distress, including location sharing with trusted contacts and additional safety features. As part of the initiative, pepper spray kits were also distributed to empower them further.

The CSE department has organized an expert talk on Career options after Graduation and how to crack personal interviews On 27th October 2023. The talk was very interesting and engaging. Students got the opportunity to learn more about different career alternatives. It was well-organized and conducted. Students have asked all their queries and found their goals.

Glimpses of certificate distribution of training done under the aegis of Apple Centre of Excellence on Data Analysis and iOS Mobile Application Development with AI for B.Tech CSD, RAI, Mechanical & Auto and Civil Engineering.

On 20th October, the Training and Placement Department, in association with Cloud Education Pvt Ltd, conducted a workshop on the Basics of AI and ML. It was a very interactive session, and students enjoyed it as well.

New State of the Art Computer lab equipped with HP i7 - 13th generation Desktops with LG monitors. These Latest Generation computers will be used for learning latest technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning & Cybersecurity in Computer Science Department as well as Managment Department.

Garba Night during the auspicious time of Navratri was organised by WCTM for the Hostel’s girls and boys students. As part of the college's hostel life, it’s very important for the hostellers to celebrate all the festivals along with their friends and faculties, and enjoy their hostel life.

The Training and Placement Department of WCTM successfully conducted the AMCAT Employability Assessment test on 16th October, 2023. This test score will open up job avenues in the top companies.

Dr. Manyata Mehra, an English teacher, conducted an activity on listening skills in her English class.

Glimpses of ongoing training on "Data Analysis and iOS Mobile Application Development with AI" under the aegis of "Apple iOS Center of Excellence" where students have learned about Fundamentals of iMac, Web Designing, Wireframes, and performed Hands-on sessions on iMac.
This training will help students develop the front-end and back-end of iOS mobile apps and students will get familiar with Apple OS frameworks.

Glimpses of ongoing training on "MERN Stack Development" under the aegis of "AI & Cyber Security Center of Excellence" where students have learned about HTML, CSS, tailwind, setup of node & react, and created the first react app.
This training will enhance the knowledge of students and will provide nice exposure to new technologies in the fields of MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.

Industry Academia Integrated Freshers Orientation Week shall be conducted in 2 Separate Phases. Online Mode (4th to 8th September 2023) and Offline Mode (on 11th September 2023).

The Department of Computer Science celebrated National Science Day with entertaining events like a painting contest and an extempore.

The Department of Training and Placement organised an informative and interactive Industrial Visit to Amar Ujala, Rohtak. The process of gathering, publishing, and distributing news to end users was thoroughly explained to the students. In addition, the LIVE Printing procedure was demonstrated.

We are organizing an interactive and knowledgeable industrial visit to Amar Ujala, a Hindi-language daily newspaper published in India and was founded in 1948. It has 22 editions in six states and two union territories covering 180 districts with a circulation of around two million copies

We organized a visit to FITT-IIT Delhi. Ms. Prabal talked about FITT-facilitated programs like SISFS and MEITY-TIDE at various startup stages. Owners of Machphy Solutions and Medic Nanocorps, Mr. Shanmukh and Ms. Khyati, provided suggestions for internship opportunities and funding plans based on a variety of sources.

We conducted an interactive and successful seminar on AWS in association with Anudip Foundation, an NGO working to transform the lives of people living in the depths of poverty.

The project VCR is a simple & small robot, which is controlled by giving specific voice commands via any Bluetooth enabled device along with speech recognition software on it.

Pick and Place robot is the one which is used to pick up an object and place it in the desired location. It can be a cylindrical robot providing movement in horizontal, vertical and rotational axes, a spherical robot providing two rotational and one linear movement.

The obstacle avoidance robot is an autonomous robot used for detecting obstacles and avoiding it. The design of obstacle avoidance robot requires the integration of many sensors on their task. The obstacle avoidance robotic vehicle uses ultrasonic sensors for its movements.
