WCTM Digital FabLab (Dream 3D beyond Print) is a unique learning environment where students can transform their ideas into reality through experimentation, innovation, and quality design. This space allows students to make and test their projects using the latest digital fabrication technology, alongside more traditional woodworking tools, ceramics, and casting with industrial 3D printers of different configurations, and Apple iMac with M3 chip, which is a great way to support research and teaching activities in digital fabrication and the physical making of digital designs. The Lab provides students, researchers and technology enthusiasts a platform to take up applied research activities and develop prototypes. Laboratory is equipped with latest tools and technologies required to facilitate research and prototyping activities.
“It is not enough to have a good idea or a formal idea. Architects and designers have to think about how those things will actually be made, and there is no better way to do that than by testing and actually building prototypes.”
Objective
The aim of FabLab is to impart practical knowledge beyond the realms of academic books and prepare students for the industrial expectations after graduation. To give students access to the environment, materials, and advanced technology that can allow that spark of an idea to ignite.

Events and Achievements
To update the knowledge of students and provide them the opportunity to acquire innovative ideas of 3D Printing techniques with creativity, a training has been organized in the Lab where students learned practical emphasis of 3D printing for faster prototyping and its application further on their design models. Students got exposure to hands-on experience and designed few models.
