Profile Overview
Dr. Shamta Chugh is Ph.D. from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science & Technology, Hisar. Specializing in Solid Mechanics, her research focuses on the Two-Dimensional Deformation of an Anisotropic Medium, with applications in Rock Mechanics, Fracture Mechanics, Civil Engineering, Geophysics, and Geomechanics. She has extensive teaching experience in Mathematics, Business Research Methods, Operations Research, and Applied Computational Statistics at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
An active researcher and academician, she has presented papers, delivered invited talks, and chaired sessions at national and international conferences. She has participated in numerous workshops, faculty development programs, and short-term courses while publishing several research papers in reputed journals.
