About the Program

Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical and automation engineering is an emerging undergraduate program that deals with designing and manufacturing engineering components by applying advanced methodologies coupled with industrial automation. It is an innovative program that focuses on advanced technologies while keeping a strong relationship with the primitive techniques for the students to be readily employable.

It is a 4 year undergraduate program with 8 semesters, each one of 6 months span. The candidates undergo industrial training or internship during the final year of the course.

Course Highlights

• The graduates of this program learn to practice and implement new ideas for product design and development and to provide adequate design and manufacturing solutions through the updated CAD/CAM technologies.
• The students will get the knowledge of the domain of thermal, solid mechanics, mechanics of machines, microcontroller, PLC, and fluid mechanics and solve the engineering problems arising out of these areas.
• The student will learn to analyze and provide a solution to real-life problems related to mechanical engineering fields together with the allied engineering branches.
• The student will be able to generate the CNC programs for various manufacturing processes.
