About the Program
An emerging branch of Civil Engineering, Computer-Aided Structural Engineering (CASE) is an innovative program. The focus is on the combination of recent advances in the field of structural engineering and computer sciences. Master of Technology in Computer Aided Structural Engineering is a two-year program that allows a structural engineer the flexibility and freedom for a better understanding of structural behaviour with material and geometric nonlinearity and loading uncertainties. Students with a background in civil engineering join this program. The course provides an excellent grounding in the fundamentals of structural engineering subjects. It also engages in a comprehensive study of computer science subjects such as programming, databases, graphics, visualization, etc. The objective of this program is to include recent advances in the development and use of computational methods for the solution of scientific and engineering problems related to structures and to make our students ready to meet all industrial requirements.
