One of the founding departments of WCTM Gurgaon, the Mechanical Engineering Department played a leading role in evolving an 'Engineering Science' based curriculum, and served as a role model for many academic institutes in the country. The academic activities are supported by 10 laboratories. The department offers 4 year undergraduate Bachelor of Technology program in Mechanical Engineering. Excellent facilities in terms of equipments and staff are available to prepare students as professional Mechanical Engineers with focus being on innovation, analysis and development of technologies. The department believes in the philosophy that the students can apply the theoretical knowledge to practice and exploration that eventually leads to experiential learning and overall personality development of student.
