A Civil Engineer is concerned with the planning, designing, construction, maintenance of structures and altering geography to suit man's need. So our department of civil engineering is excellently suited to meet the ever changing requirements of engineers with the course that combine with the study of computers, management etc. Some of the numerous main divisions are transportation, steel design, soil engineering, earthquake structures, hydrology, irrigation, water supply, sewage disposal structures of buildings, bridges, tunnels etc.

The college has provided a good grooming ground for civil engineering by making available ISO certified instruments in various well-equipped laboratories. Beside high quality teaching and instructions, the department arranges industrial and site visits for the students to provide them practical knowledge.

The college has taken a new initiative in creating a center for Water Conservation & renewable energy Management.
